3S Service Center: Highly Recomended

Post by prezjamin »

Hi Guys,

Just a big thanks to James (Fonzy) and Luke (Skywalker) at 3S, who serviced my Tubby last weekend, for a top quality service. Not only did they service my tubby and change my cam belt but for a packet of wheat crunchies and a mars bar they took out my air box (which was blocking airflow to my Induction Kit) and blinged one of my pipes (a wicked  trick to temp me into completely blinging my engine bay i am sure). The service was top quality and the amount of information that James gave me about my car was priceless, I would highly recommend 3S to anyone who is thinking of getting some work done on their 2.

:thumright: Big thumbs up from one satisfied customer 3S

Cheers,

Ben

Sounds awsome, but any chance of someone building a service station closer to home :p

This is great to hear, and it's due to recommendations like these that I'm hoping to have all the work on my 2 done there.
He's quoted me on changing the cambelt, a coolant change, fitting my HKS intercooler, re-wiring my disconnected SAFC and FCD, and mapping it all. His prices are great, it's a bit of a shame it's so far away from me, I'm right on the East coast of Essex! But it'll be worth it for the drive home!!

I'll let you all know how I get on when it's done.

Believe me James the extra noise that Induction Kit makes without the airbox in leads me to believe that there is still a 3sgte in there and the roads through the New Forest \:D/ , well . . . enough said ;)

Just make sure you let me know when the bling package is available, My one shiney pipe is looking a little lonely.

I've already been down to 3S for suspension bushes, downpipe, balljoints and boost gauge fitting and will be returning soon for more goodies.

James and the team did a great job on my car when it went in so I'd also highly recommend them.

 not bad Jez, we had a slight hiccup when your beauty fell off the ramps from 6ft and landed on Austin Healey, the owner will be in contact for your insurance details shortly. So there is now the slight matter of a bit of t-cutting to bring your car back to a straight chassis from a kinda L shapped object.

Don't even joke about it!!

I'm just glad you got it up on the ramps!! That's the main thing!

That's the only way a Austin Healey's ever gonna get under MY car!!

Even the sleeping policemen have to duck when they see me coming!

I was hoping you'd be in Camberley. That would've been very handy for me as I work in Farnborough.

Oh well, I might just have to take a trip to the seaside this summer :sunny:
