Hi guys for two days i've been trying to log on an the site brought up a stange page also a few posts which i was watching dont exist any more as well as a few private messages!! ? has anyone experienced any of this

Website was hacked and went down for 2 days.

I think there is still a few gremlins, but at least it's up and I'm sure the glitches will be ironed out soon
You will have lost some messages and posts as when they brought the forum back up they took it from Sunday so if you have done anything since then you will need to re-send your PM's etc.

Yeah the guys are doing some work with smtp (the mail sending protocol). Messages are still being deliverd tho matey

Yes the site got hacked and yes personal info may have been taken but surely it was only name and possibly email address???? This attack is by no means an oversight by the good folk that run this forum. From what I understand some code in the 'garage' was exploited. This happens all the time across the globe.

Blame the gimps that hacked it !

so good he replied many times. Fasthosts got hacked and lost a bucket load of details that they haven't disclosed. IMOC has almost no personal details by comparison.

Is it likely to happen again, yeah that's what happens on the net. If in doubt, store nothing and change your password every week. Either that or stay off the net
