As title!
Im about to buy some wheels for my Tubby and i can't make up my mind whether to go for 17's or 16's - i'm more interested in performance rather than looks, but i've got a full Border kit on my motor and i'm concerned that 16's would look really small in the arches
Any help/advice would be really appreciated..
Thanks in advance
Mick
16's definately Mick, these cars handle so much better with this size IMO, especially if the wheels are staggered (wider at the back).
I've run 17's on my road car and personally i think the ride is too harsh (although i do have coilovers), as for track use i'd definately stick with 16's - perhaps even 15's.
Ultimately it's personal preference tho'
Hope that helps mate
I had 16" but could not get the right tyres I wanted for the rear as they had stopped making that size so had to go to 17". So check you can get the size tyre you want from the makers you like.

I think 17"s look the mutts nuts but I'd agree with the former comments. Mine are harsh with the coil-overs as well (but not too bad) and in retrospect I think I should have gone 16" which might have given me better acceleration even though they don't look as big.
