Is Leeroy ordering the bits or is it down to DARRYN & Headcover?

Not in a tizzy, guys. Just wondering how it will work.

I did a bit of homework on suppliers initially to get Dave interested and I proposed that he produces replicas of both parts. I found out unit costs and shipping costs... Dave and Darryn have now come back to us to say they want to go ahead and need deposits up front to be able to order the original parts. I'm phoning the US company tonight because I spoke to them a few weeks ago about the order (I'm waiting for them to call back as I type). I will then give info to Darryn, he will make payment and the order will be in place. I'm just trying to speed things up a bit

Once they arrive, Dave will make the moulds and perfect any issues etc etc. The lip is the easier piece to replicate so it will be produced first.

Got it?

I've not got it...

Sounds like you are now in control of this, unless MR2OC has been updated since the lack of Darryn's posts.

You paid Dave, Dave is in control of this, I have nothing to do with it except for the fact I'm waiting too.

Feel free to act on it yourself though

Sorry?

I know you like your 'rolling eyes' Emoticon.

If you re-read your post I quoted there's a lot "I did this", "I started that"...

What are you talking about? ](*,)

The post you referred to above is very old and that part has long been completed. Have you been following the progress at all or am I misunderstanding you?

The originals are with Dave. He is apparently making the moulds for the replicas. All I did was help source the initial parts.

I have NO CONTROL OVER THIS WHATSOEVER so please don't assume that I have.

Well I can't imagine the business has gone under. Even if Darryn has walked (may be on holiday/busy/pi$$ed off with Dave...) then I still believe they will come eventually.

Make no mistake, if something has gone very wrong I will make sure I get my money back even if I have to pay someone a visit. I can't believe that would ever be necessary.

We'll see...

Btw, I have never spoken on the phone or in person with Darryn, it was all pm's and the thread.

Yup...

The more dialogue between us, the clearer 'it' gets. I'm totally bewildered as to how Dave (in the Mid/Slightly North Midlands) has a business partner in Glasgow (I think?).

I don't think I would be able to give commentary on a (manually fabricated) product from a distance of 180miles.

Sorry to sound 'arsey' in the posts previously.....

..... but, I want these bits (and more if I had the confidence).

Dave has also asked me to let you guys know that Darryn is no longer in the picture so please contact Dave directly. Since his affiliate status is suspended, his mobile is 07807167935 so text or call him with outstanding orders and postal addresses etc as he wants to sort everything out.

Hope I'm not treading on the moderators toes...

just to reiterate what leeroy posted above.

Spoke to Dave yesterday about my own project car at his workshop and in our discussion he mentioned that he has a few Aeroware items sitting ready to ship - but he needs your contact details to proceed and get parts out.

He is available via his mobile phone as posted above or his email. He's very busy in his workshop, so if he doesn't answer, try leaving a message and or sending a text. As evidenced by our recent discussion, he will get back to you.

If you placed an order and paid in full/deposit, please get in touch with Dave directly so he can fulfill your order.

He also asked me to forward him via email the last version of the order list - but ultimately it's the addresses he needs so it's probably better just for you guys to get in touch directly.

Cheers all
