



Only problem is i cant get the rear boot to unlock with the key she has given me, it just wont turn.



Also the ariel wont go down, even if i do turn the radio off before the ignition.

I'd say the bootlid was replaced at some point, so it has a different key, which may not have come with the lid if it came from a breakers.

The passenger key will also start the car.

The passenger key is there so they can steal your car and smash open the bot and glovebox at their leisure, rather then unlocking it!
I use my passenger key for the MK1 as its less worn and starts the car easier, without rattling the key around, but it means I have to pop the boot from inside.
