Well this i think is going to be one of the last threads i ever start.

today my car was flooded, water up to the bottom of my windows, the only thing i managed to rescue in time was the power fc that was in the boot.

im expecting it to be a write off, my life has hit an all time low this week with other things on my mind too.

someone is goign to come look at the car next week, fingers crossed

after about an hour of the car being in the water i realised my holiday tickect were in the glove box!! they are fine though, 1 less thing to sort out. off to majorca in a week, hopefully itll take my mind off things.

with the insurance money though and parts you can salvage just think what you could build next time though with the extra knowledge you have from doing this one.

I really do hope the car is ok-you know what happened to that toyota HI-Lux on top gear-I know its different but that lived on (and still does) toyota know how to build a damn fine car-hopefully yours will be back with a bit of tweeking...when she's back out of the the water, get her down to a bodyshop-stick her in a spray booth for an hour with the doors/boot/engine lid/frunk open.

That's really bad!

Don't let the interior dry out naturally, go get a cheap wet and dry vacuum cleaner and extract all the water you can, use upholstery cleaner on everything inside or else mould will develop very quickly.

Get WD40 on everything electrical ASAP too to disperse the water and hold back corrosion.

All may not be lost, chin up dude.

ok obviously the car is wet, but if its removed from the water if the engine fluids are changed possible interia change and carpets what else could need doing to it get it sweet again?
