[Mk2] [Turbo] Manual Boost Contoller help!!

Right, Im still having problems upping my boost..

I have now swapped my digital electronic boost gauge for a mechanical one so therefore it should'nt be wrong. I am still only getting 0.7 bar at around 5000rpm but pretty much reads about 0.3bar until this point. I have the manual boost control at around 3/4 in and just dont understand. I have checked every single pipe in the engine and cable tied everything to try and eliminate any possible leaks....

I cant seem to increase the boost... It wont go up and am unsure of why it will only read maximum boost at such high revs?? Anyone got any ideas of what it could be and what I could check for?

try resetting your ecu just incase the car is running in safe mode

never thought of that, it shouldn't be reaching 0.7bar if it was in safe mode should it??

sounds like you have the 2 pipes the wrong way around to me

Which 2 pipes?? If you mean the actual mbc it is the right way round...

I drove it today and whilst in 4th it boosted to around 0.7 bar at 4500 - 5000 rpm but no further despite the mbc being wound 3/4 in. I just cant seem to get the boost to increase, was reading a post about faulty actuators, is this possible?? Would this have an effect??
