Who did you speak to? Dave F is the one to speak to or myself (I actually have a rev2 tubby). SPAX do list two kits for the MKII 90-94 S038033 95-00 S038032 and like you said spring rate will be slightly different. You will always get different opinions on what to buy but hey youre doing the right thing and asking the questions. My personal favourites are either TEIN, EIBACH or I use WHITELINE on my Supras. As far as being expensive... I agree yes we can seem expensive sometimes but we stick to the RRPs that the brands give us and are not just some kid sat in his room on EBAY making 10% on each sale who screws you over when still nothing has turned up at your door in 6 weeks. Thats why people like myself who have an interest in Jap cars (especially Toyotas) try to offer you guys discount to ease the pain a little(always worth the call to see what I can do) :thumleft: Anyway rant over im nice really!!!

Ok Cheers Marc C have you got a direct number also can i get stiffer springs which wont knaker the dampers eg if i want a set off stiffer springs from spax before they turn up is that a possibility or if i was to add different manufacter springs would this have any adverse effect on the dampers life! :)

Any advise would be helpfule Marc!

Scoops: I dont honestly mind the hard ride i prefer performance and direct feel over comfort! :)

MrTEE: I've been shopping around mate and i have seen a few places cheaper but with out the advise of what the kits would be like even though the guy from demon tweeks wasn't spot on about Spax fitting my car the advise on kits and recommendation were what i would want before i buy!

ive bought from demon tweeks before and thought they were spot on.
i didnt find them expensive either. good service and quick delivery.

ive got spax on my car ( the adjustables ) set to hard. and they are rock hard. almost no movement in them at all. certainly no body roll on corners.
almost shake your teeth out on bumpy roads.
but i like it like that.

Will do give you a call Defo Marc! The guy i spoke to mentioned Tein which originally i weren't after coilovers but its now got me thinking of them now!
Basically i'm not too bothered about a hard ride at all. If i ordered Spax would i be able to get soft and hard springs for example in the same way you get coilover springs in 50lb encrements.

Cheers :)
