[Mk2] [Turbo] How long for the GT3076 External W/g's Kits?

Post by megatart »

My current TD05 is on its way out. Oil in intercooler piping and its makin quite a bit more noise. Just wondering how long it will be before the GT3076 kits will be finished with the external wastegates. I know Tim was working on them and has been for some time, but when? Im trying to hang out for these GT kits for as long as poss, but think my Greddy is gonna pop soon so may get desperate. Cheers

hey i'm waiting for tims personaly but also have noticed that most of the mentioned companies are not advertising on their respective sites, its more of a request etc

sbits advertises them as coming soon, and not too keen on the ko racing site.

if anyone can post up places or contact details i would like to have a scout around at there individual kits to see the differences.

Thanks Karam

The KO racing ones look ok, and for not much over 1400 quid, it seems like a good deal to me. Has anyone had any bad experiences with them, or good ones?

I've ordered one, cost £1500 with ceramic coating,it should be here in a few weeks. The turbo kit is for a friend of mine so I'll let you know how he gets on,but I must say what a pleasure it was dealing with Lilly and chris of KO far better service than I received from companies this side of the Atlantic :!:

KO kits are top quality ,and worth every penny

however don't forget that you will have to add import duty and VAT to that price ,as you would have to be very lucky for customs to let something that heavy and valuable through the net, without charge

duty is 7% and vat is 17.5%
so probably nearer £1900 by the time it gets to you
