Is anyone going to this?

I have never been to a meet before. Would be nice to catch up with some of you, see what you have done to your MR2's.

It's the one late June at Santa Pod I think Jo.

Normally I would organise this, but I am on holiday. So if anyone wants to go now is the time to sort it - this year they are insisting on a deposit up front for a stand too.

I am arranging this for the MR2oc and have not been asked for a deposit, just that for 60 cars 30 tickets would have to have been bought to secure the space.

I know what you mean Earl, one of the reasons I've pulled out of even thinking of entering TOTB - I just don't have the time nowadays. :-k

Perhaps it's changed, they wanted 50% of the ticket price up front for the number of cars when I last looked!

you are both talking the same really:
50% of the stand paid for in advance = 30 advance tickets for a 60 car plot

this is the reason the MK1 club are not booking a stand this time
(plus it clashes with mallory mr2 challenge)

BTW:
Jap Show = Santa Pod x2
Jap Fest ( I & II)= Castle Combe & Donington

Mate I'm not holding tickets you have to get them yourself through www.japshow.com. Just remember to add in the comments which club they are for :thumleft:

remember I am arranging a stand for MR2oc not IMOC. :-$

morning all,to update on this i have contacted the show organisers, with a view to having an imoc stand, and we only need to sell 5 pre-booked tickets to enable us to have a 10 car club stand, their is however a deadline to book these tickets.i have approached imocuk commitee for their approval to organise this event, and once i get an answer will either get the ball rolling,or we will be left to our own devices.paul.
