Called Si on the Friday afternoon and explained the problem, to which Si tried his best to give his thoughts over the phone.
Saturday morning I turned up at his unit with less than 24 hours notice for him 
He then spent the best part of his afternoon
(if nto all of it) doing all tests from leakdown and compression to taking the turbo pipes off and checking for oil. Had the car up in the air and it was then he noticed I had an aftermarket oil pressure sensor in the head which had been fitted wrong! ie on a wonk!Si then replaced the sensor for one he had then degreased my whole engine and took it for a run.
.. oil leak stopped. On the test run he noticed my clutch wasnt right so he adjusted it so it was set right for me.He told me to keep an eye on it and gave me his own mobile number incase of any problems
(so far so good, no oil lost)As well as fixing it he spent ages offering advice on other bits and pieces.
Shall definately be using him again.
Oh and to top it off he has his own MR2 that runs 11.05s!!!
