well after a nice scrubbing, this is what the MR2 boys had on offer..... age and beauty to start with

Your car looks nice and shiney mate, you had it tarted up? I drove up to donny on the Sunday (just got my downpipe fitted) didn't go to the show. Looked very busy, weather a lot better than on the Saturday.

yeah had a bit of paintwork done and then a bit of spit and polish with a little help from chris and vic finished it off nicely

Those other mr2's looked awsome but the one thing i really hate is the front bumper on the veilside kit it looks look a fish

The Veilside front bumper has always been horrendous. I went Bomex on the front of my old one - much nicer....

Excellent - glad you sold your old one, would have been a terrible shame for you to lose the widebody after all you went through to get it.

As for the escort - cheers, I wasn't going to replace the 2 with anything sporty, but this one came up with only 60K miles from new - absolutely mint all round so I bought it as an investment plus with it having 4 seats it means it will see a little Sunday use with the family in tow.....

Plan is to keep it for 5 years until 2010 (when I will be 40) then p/x it in against a Ferrari. Only need to save 4K a year - the escort should return 5K thus giving me 25K to blow on my dream car!

That's the plan anyway!!

You're joking - looks so much better.

I'll dig out some photos of my old n/a before the change and after, totally lifts the car. Maybe not so much so on a red one, but black it just has to be done.

Leave it a couple of years an i might have my TRD kit fitted by then an we won't look the same....lol.
