The plug for the intake pipe is usually always suplied with an aftermarket dump valve......Have heard of people using a wine cork lol or the sawn off end of a broom handle

Any company who sells BOV's for the MR2 should stock extra accessories too.....Failing that i'm sure someone will give ya one off here :-s

Use a broom handle Jim! You know it makes sense. Just make sure it cant get sucked into your turbo!!

I used a couple of rubber wine making bungs from a wine shop, if they're too big they can just be trimmed down with a stanley knife. :thumleft:

What's your plan jim? You got a new bov or are you dumping the stock one? The stock one is seriously loud when dumped to atmosphere! I had mine dumping for a bit but it got on my nerves after a few weeks so I cahnged it back. Still keep a bit of broom handle in my car incase I fancy a change though.

just wona try out a nice bov....
guess ive turned chav or something :-)

but my current setup is loud as anything anyway...ryan at 2bar tuning compared my recirc sound (stock bov) as loud as a blitz bov anyway, lol...plus id like to rule out whether my stock bov is leak/damaged...
just an excuse to get more mods, starting to run out of things to do

Jim,

I'm actually searching for that plastic pipe and the rubber bit that links the re-circ valve back to the intake.

My Rev2 intake pipe has a dv blanking part in it.

If I presume you're still running the Rev2 intake pipe, then we might be able to do a swap or something....

Not spring related. So no leaks.
