I have been bitten by the trackday bug.
Oulton Park is having a Track Day on the 26th FEB open to all people. 50 places available

Generally we use Bookatrack since Lauren works there and they are especially well run.
Having said that it is cheap and the noise limit is high so I could easily be tempted!
Anyone else fancy going? JJ, Nankang Chris?, Pete?

Obviously you are welcome to use easytrack or whoever you wish. IMOC has traditionally used BookaTrack.
I'm not going to recommend easytrack.
Will this be your first trackday Hedgehog?
Oulton is a fantastic circuit, but a daunting challenge for a newbie. By all means do it, but take care and don't go running out of talent as there isn't loads of run off plus the trees tend to make it slippy particularly round the back (Druids etc).

Oh dont worry Lauren, i will take it easy. Are BookaTrack going to be sorting a day out at Oulton Park soon? As I would rather do it through them than Easytrack.

Looks unlikely tbh
Can't seem to get dates there very often (last time was Dec03).
Its a real shame as its a fab circuit and my closest too.

Oulton Park
where is this ?
February !! lol !! You know why its cheap ??!!! we'll slamming off the side walls with the icy conditions and build up in snow.
Anyone else fancy going? JJ, Nankang Chris?, Pete?
I need to fix the car first... I hate the sound of a blowing exhaust ... and the occasional bellowing of smoke isn't really appealing too !
I'll have it fixed by then, but that not the concern... the concern is a icy track... wet tracks I can handle, ice tracks... if the ambient is 1 degree, we'll either be throwing up grit at each other or we will be ploughing into each other !

The circuit will not allow cars out if its icy so i wouldn't worry about that.
It will be greasy and generally slippy in feb.
I did a day at Combe on Saturday (BaT xmas do) and it was incredibly greasy, but did dry out come the afternoon.
Oulton Park is in Cheshire nantwich way just a bit west of the M6.
