i currently got my dash sprayed silver, but i need to get rid of it (dont ask)!
is there any product i can buy that will help me get rid of the paint from my dash without melting the plastic?

Nitro mors auto paint remover, about £5/6 from B&Q. I had to do the same thing, however you need to really carefull when usig it in so much as if you leave it on for too long or put on too much, it melts the plastic. When you use it have a bucket of soapy water or a hose with an old sponge to wash it off at a given time. Keep the timings short to avoid dissapointment of a melted dash.

I managed to melt one of mine and ended up replacing it with a new one from toyota, don't ask how much, should have got a second hand one. Th0at was the second mistake.

Hope it helps DEano

i know it does, :-), but big time mistake of maybe putting a little to much on and leaving the car in the bright sun has caused it to bubble very slightly! you wouldnt even notice it, but i drive the car every day, and i notice it, lol!

(all i want to do is get rid of what i have on, and just redo it)
