Speaking Of Track Days

Post by bikerman90 »

Has anyone had any dealings with the Javelin Track Day people? They hold a track day event at Barkston eath which is just down the road from me and there prices seem very reasonable

Just wondering if anyone been on one of there days before?

Yep, they are fine. The guy that runs it works as a marshal at Cadwell. When i used to work up there for BaT i used to chat to him a fair bit. Nice guy.

I did a trackday with them about 50 years ago (was 2001) at Binbrook, was fine.

ty for the responses. The reason i asked was a chap just came into work to fit a new card machine and was saying that he was taking his 200sx up there on the 28th and suggested i took my 2 for a play lol.

Good for Novices like myself?

Barkston is good for novices but from what I know, but not exactly challenging or hugely fun. Just up the road from me too - whereabouts are you?

If its a drift day (and anything like the one i went on) then it may not be what you are after.
The MK1 NA hasn't got the power for the type of drift day I did - ie power drifts and fig 8's etc, and the day was driven on a small area.
these days are ususally good practice days for the 200sx and skyline crews...

not had chance to look at the info re your planned day, just my quick 2p's thoughts.....
