long story short

i have a set of GAB coilovers, the front top mounts went on them, i had to fit standard ones for now, which took the ride hight up about 1cm.

i cant get and new GAB topmounts go gonna have to go for the likes of TEIN

question is, is a tein Top mount the same thickness as a GAB, also is a tein topmount thinner than a standard, i.e will it drop my car back down a little if i replace my standards with tein??

I know this is a really old post but I have GAB coilovers on my '94 jap import MR2. It recently failed an MOT as the top mounts have a slight crack in them. I can't find any GAB top mounts but came across this post and wondering if standard toyota top mounts would fit as a temporary replacement until I get good replacements.

I have TEIN coilovers - I fitted TRD front top mounts good tight feel but no more shock or jarring and my teeth no longer rattle.

Awesome, thanks for the help. Luckily I managed to find a set of GAB coilovers for sale off a car which are for spares or repairs so managed to salvage the top mounts from them.
