MR2 MK2 GT-S 400HP with slicks, circuit driving what lasts even driver is Kimi Räikkönen.

Brembo is good brand but their options doesn't give any choises for MR2.

Is there any experience and options to give?

Revision 2 brakes with decent pads(Carbotech come highly recommended) are very good.
I have 325mm HiSpec disks& 4 pot alloy calipers on mine.

Does those brakes last many rounds in circuit?
Of cource their stop car but have your ever test them in real track driving?
This is no joke! I mean that when drive fast laps, speed must also stop fast and brakes gets it in temperature what means with normal brakes over heat, spoiling and brake losing.

I tought at first that normal brakes aren't good enought in this case.
I got same kind of information in other forum and it's nice to hear that orginal brakes are good.
May be best option at start is change just trackday pads and good fluids.![]()
Let see later if it needs something real upgrades.

Nice to see you here. You planning to do trackdays
- or actually race?
For trackdays- I'd say you could get by with standard Calipers and uprated pads.
I used Pagid Fast roads for a few years and was happy with them, but for harder use, I'd consider the Carbotech pads.

If you go for big brake upgrades, you need to take care that that front/rear brake bias is maintained so the balance of the under under braking is right, with the rears doing a fair amount of the work. This is where you need to pay most attention
- some big brakes kits ignore this and fit larger brakes and disks just to the front, which ruins the balance.

Are they just on the front? stock disks/calipers on the back?
