[Mk2] [Turbo] Head bolts

What are the advantages of ARP head studs over OEM ones? Is it worth doing whilst the head is off? Are they worth the extra £70?

Gonna be running ct20b at approx 17-18psi.

for that boost level stock new bolts will be fine - Arps at your level of boost arent needed - just a luxury.

ARRGGGHH!!!

so should i get them or not?

Future proof? If i think like that then I should put forged pistons in, but i don't really have the cash to do that.

Without forgies is there any benefit to ARP bolts? Where's the bottleneck if u know what i mean. + are they worth an extra £100???

£100 spent now will be £500 saved later!

Very few people can resist the temptation to constantly modify. If I could go back 4 years I'd have done the lot in one go - It would have saved a fortune !

Go for the forgies too.

ur assuming I'm made of money. ](*,)

All well and good saying that it'll cost me money later, but really if i do go back and do the pistons the head bolts will be replaced too anyway!

If I'm not doing the forgies. is there any point in the ARP bolts?

Na, dont worry with the ARP's for now if you have no intent of making any drastic mods.. just use STD ones..

but when the time comes that you want to start upgrading.. Put the ARP's and Forgies on your shopping list!
