Nice one. See you tomorrow!

[edit] Oto I may have a problem in the fact that I have no passenger side seat belt! If anybody reading this is going tomorrow could they bring a socket set with them as all my tools are elsewhere right now.

Many thanks!

Good good! See you all there tomorrow!!

Just done a few last minute preps myself - the cold weather has made my boost creep up, so just refitted the MBC and wound it down a little further.

Rowland - I'll be bringing a small toolbox with various sockets, should have everything you could possibly need! (I have never had to use it during a journey with this car, but for some reason I hate leaving home without it - guess that's going back to my MG Midget days..... )

Alex, what group are you in?

Row, i'll be bringing down my track car with a passanger seatbelt fitted but no passanger seat (don't ask).

I'll also have basic tools, you're welcome to it.

Novice!

I have two seats, both with seatbelts! :thumleft:
I'd be happy to take on a passenger (and would actually appreciate any advice that could be given round the track). Already prebooked some tuition too...

P.s. looks like sunshine all day!!

Oh and i'm booked in the intergroup, as much as i'd loved to have been on the same bit of track as you guys the beginner group is really slow. If it's anything like last time we'll all be moving up a group by lunch.

So are the garages available on a first come first served type affair??

Not knowing the formalities, I'll have to see how it goes but will try get one!!

I'm on 07974 301838, and I'll be with the Black Rev3 Tubby with anthracite wheels

Yep, turn up, drive through where most of the cars are to the garages, try and get one of the far garages as they're normally the quietest, park up and walk back, you'll see what i mean.

I'm aiming to be there for 8.15

My tubby is in my garage, though i'll have my surfboard wing on for rear downforce :eye:

Cool, I'll probably be arriving at a similar time.

Is there a Shell / BP garage nearby?

Nearest I know of is a total 15 minutes away. There's fuel on site which i think is 98ron, it's just expensive.

Last time there I went through a whole tank and a 20l jerry, so i'll be arriving as brimmed as i can as usual!

Sorry guys, only just got in - don't ask...!
I've managed to get hold of a passenger seatbelt and fixings, I'll just need to fit it in the morning PDQ.
Thanks for the offers of tools chaps, I'll possibly call on those after the briefing.
:thumleft:

I'll be in the Rogue car possibly wearing a blue Sparco jacket BTW.

See you there!

WTF is that all about!! There is no way that circuit would work well backwards? Craners? Uphill? I dont think so....

Which moron made that decision?

A MX5 decided to spin infront of me and it was either collect it or gravel.

Redgate is deep gravel so out came the reds and I got towed out, they then send you back up the track the wrong way so everyone can take bloody photos to post on forums ;)

The best bit is I had literally just got there and got on the pit wall, saw Jon go past then bury himself in the gravel, hilarious.

Im sorry Jon, I just couldn't help myself.

He came in and saw me and just put his head in his hands knowing about the world of mocking he was about to recieve, and ive not even mention the friendly word the circuit instructor had with him about spinning (he did before too apparently)..........

I am sorry Jon, I still can't help myself.

That wasn't a spin, it was a skilled 360, ask anyone who saw it...

Actually, late that day a rather fast evo did the same thing only he didn't manage to catch it and flip it back round before the grass. He bent the entire side on the wall, i literally dont think any of the wheels were pointing in the same direction.
