As a passenger in said tubby on a couple of occasions (cheers again! \:D/ ) I can confirm that he drove it very sedately and never had any traction problems from the rear.... :^o

Was pretty suprised how well it gripped in the wet though. :o

Hi Guys, I am in the XL Motorsport/Neil Garner Performance Enginnering team who was running the M3 there, we were just running the engine in as we finished the fresh build this week, it was its second run in session so we were taking it to the redline this time.
I know a couple of guys from IMOC (petrolheadhall and MR2lover (Ryan)) and have a Celica GT4 with the almighty 3sgte and it was awesome to see you giuys at Llandow.
Just thought i'd say hi and hope everyone had a good day.

Hi Ryan,
U were the guy with the Mr2 without the rear wing yeh? and the xxxx stickers in the back windows?
Yeh the silver M3 was the owner of the racing cars road car, when it started tipping it down we had done all the testing we needed so he decided to take it out for a spin, I had a passenger ride for quite a few laps too and yeh it is rapid and sounds amzing.

Nice to meet a few people and get overtaken by some nice cars :D

My little NA clocked 168k during the afternoon session and still made the 200 miles journey home without complaint

Sorry didn't get to meet everyone, hope Jason enjoyed the passenger ride, and sorry to hear about your splitter, James.

Anyway, got the mrs hooked, looking forward to booking our next track day next year.

Suspension mods may be required!!! :)

Cheers
p.s. excellent pics Earl.

Yeah, cheers Bob definately enjoyed that, spent the rest of the day grinning. Was full of plans on the ride home to get straight to work on the car and spend hours in the garage. Unfortunately I was reminded the cupboards were bare so had to trudge around tesco's.
Glad I came down, great to see the cars and chat with a few people. That was the prod in the right direction i need to get mine sorted now.
Better not blow all my money on the car work - have to remember to have a wedge put away for a few track days.

Superb day.

And thank you for the ride in the V6, it's given me added motivation to get my Camry lump in the Mk1.

Hi guys, sounds like you all had a great time!
Still gutted I couldn't go, how did my replacement get on? (S2000?)
I've only just found this thread, was wondering why no-one had put anything up on the original thread!

I liked one of Vashys pictures so much I made a sig out of it ....

Just love the way the shot has captured the speed, and the front wheels indicate that the back end is in a slide. Very cool!

Nice shot Vashy!
