MR2 club in Andover, Hampshire

Nearest 3 meets for you are the Southampton, Portsmouth or Guildford meets. The first isn't regular but the other 2 are.

RR days are not particularly common, once a year maybe.

Think you may have miss understood my original post.

I am not on about IMOC arranged meets n RR days.

I am asking if anybody knows of a MR2 Club or any meets/RR days that happen in Andover.

I know about the others, but cheers anyways.

Im from Andover and just got myself a lovely dark blue 1990 MR2. And was wondering the same thing.

I think you'll be lucky to find enough people who drive mr2's in one particular town/city to even think about forming a regular club. Even then your going to have to hope that every one of those is actually interested in being in a club...

For instance, IMOC has just under 7000 members. That doesn't divide down too well to individual towns and cities!

You might be lucky and find half a dozen enthusiasts in your area that you could meet with regularly - but I'm not sure that's big enough for club status and discounted RR days, etc...

There have been a few RR days at Millways in Andover but I think they were run by MR2OC.
If you want to start up meets in North Hampshire why not see if you can get enough interest?

I'm from southampton and know of another 5 or so from this area. We usually just meet up for bbq's, drinks, etc, but if you're going to organise a local type meet, give me a shout and i can drag the rest along too

Hey guys apprieciate all the responses from people around Anodover.

I would liked to have organised something, however after fitting a nice exhuast and having my car back on the road, running the best it has for a few months.

Without any warnings whatsoever, the big ends have gone west on my engine. (I think, havent looke inside yet to scared).

So sorry guys no meets for me.

I go to southampton once a month. Would like to come and check some more mr2s out and get some ideas.
