Rewiring Headlamps to Relays

I have just installed a set of revision 6 headlamps and want to do the mod so both sets of lamps come on with high beam

Peter Giddens has done it but never told us how

I also want to run slightly higher wattage bulbs only in the high beam side, maybe 80w instead of 55w so its another reason to wire it through relays as i dont think the standard wiring would handle it, and also coming straight from the battery does give a bit more brightness to the bulbs

Am i right in thinking i need 3 relays, 1 for high beam , 1 for low beam and another to switch on both sets when high beam is selected, have done up a diaghram and it seems to work on paper but is there an easier way without using the 3rd relay?

Has anyone done this mod even to the original headlights?

I did find a great electronics forum once upon a time. They we're doing all kind of custom lights on there was a good read, and full of electronics geeks that are more than happy to help out.
