piston rings

Post by benmumford1 »

Got a bit over enthusiastic :clown: fitting my new je 86.5 rings to my very bling new je pistons and broke one of the second rings  (wow!! what a heart stopper) so i wanted to know if rings were available seperatly or in single piston sets (if so where from) as a cant really afford to get a complete set, couldnt really afford to do my rebuild in the first place but you know how it is. Anyboy else done this and have a spare lying around [-o< or is it just me

If you dont have any luck I bought a full set of JE rings from http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com

Total cost was $100 with shipping. Took about 5 days to arrive... definatly recommend... also bought some ARP rod bolts for $35... well worth it.
