Totally agree with the dog comment lol.

This is better.

However is that just a normal mr2? ie a conversion from a tintop?

The Spyder MK2 looks like this at ther rear/engine lid

yeah the real spyder (rare one) ONLY looks good with the roof off. When its on i cant help but laugh at it. But the conversion above uses the shape of the normal mr2 so disguises it a bit more.

And yea red, them 355 kits are awesome i dont care what anyone says about been false and tacky, just make sure you take your dump valve off if you convert a tubby :)

I don't care how good they loo (and I've seen some that'll make most non believers drool) but it's all a let down when you turn the engine on. No way of replicating that Ferarri engine note. And thats one of the best things the 355 has going for it.

That is a standard MR2 MK2 Spyder. Very rare.

As you can see it looks lame with the roof up.

Swapping it with the roof you've shown will look tons better IMO if it's do-able.

p.s. Thats the first non-silver coloured MK2 spyder I have ever seen.

If the spyder had a spoiler it might look better.

That DIY one looks VERY amturish. Also looks like it would lack any structural rigidity?

I think he may be referring to the fit around the side windows... looks very misaligned:

The best looking spyder I've seen.

Not a big fan of them as standard, but that I'd have!
