Try and get a ride on one. They are so different to the jap bikes, it took me ages to get used to the cornering, but once you do you realise how special they are (until your back starts hurting so much you need to stop).

Yeah, being 6"3 isn't going to help me on a matchbox ducati :(

yes indeedy-delivery miles only-adds to his collection of a reaL ac cobra 289 (one that won the le mans) and about 10 corvettes.....oh how the other half live ey ](*,)

iye-cant beat a 289-my daddy has one in BRG :D xxxx its quick...
yes i think the 999r is a way forward :wink: get the 2004/5 model though as the new one hasnt got carbon fairing as standard and this model out now has :mrgreen:

I'm 6'2" and to be fair it only gets painful if you get stuck in a bit of traffic, once you're up to speed it's fine.

Even my SVS is uncomfortable through traffic and that's plenty more upright. Fortunately we can filter O:)

Indeed. However hard i try i just can't get my knee down in my MR2 :( (or get a rush like it)

Well we all have MR2's aswell! Go for a test ride on a 675 Jon, you will fit easy, we tried really hard to make sure it fits all sizes, even though its a tiny bike, you too Ducati chick, mind you anyone is welcome to have a go on mine in the summer, I think ive made my mind up.............

The GF will batter me!

That settles it. Next year i'm going to orginise the first IMOC rideout :mrgreen:

Gareth, we probably are all on bike clubs (i am) but it's nice to connect with people on here too.

I'll take that test ride on a 675, it's a lovely looking bike and i can't wait to hear it. Can't make my mind up if i prefer the vtwin thump or the IL4 scream so this should be interesting to hear with a straight through pipe on :)
