[Mk2] [Turbo] Strange banging/knocking noise from the back

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has any hints/tips on how to check the following.

On the last trip back from LeMans as I got off the Ferry I noticed a loud bang as I went over a bump. After that when I go over any significant bumps there is a loud bang from the left read of the car.

I notice before I went to LeMans that I had a slight leak on one of the Tein Flex Coilovers on the back left and thought it might be that so I'm currently organising to get that repaired by Tein.

HOWEVER. I've also noticed that there's a lot of oil around the Left side inner CV Joint. There doesn't appear to be a tear or anything in the CV boot and I'm wondering if it's from the coilover.

Does anyone have any decent ways to test the CV joint whilst it's still attached to the car?

Shocker is defo dead! I'd had a similar thing happen on a set of teins as well.

I'd send both rears off to be honest. As the other one will probably go soon mate.
