Hi everyone,
I'm introducing my new car, it's a gen3 turbo, but at the moment the gearbox is stuck in gear and the engine didn't crank over yet. I noticed the IMOC stickers, so I thought it would be worthwhile to post it here in the hope somebody recognises the car.
I need lots of parts, so any help would be welcome!
Plans are
-rebuild engine
-check gearbox (shifter mechanism missing)
-repaint front
-rebuild Bilstein suspension
-put some nice rims on it
-...

Here are some more pics

Nice one.
Put your location up on your profile, there could be someone local to you that could help you out. No shortage of parts around here anyway.

Re: MR2 rev3 SMG turbo
Thanks!
I already found 1 of the former owners of this car of the IMOC
At the moment the engine doesn't turn over, starter worked once when out of the car. But now it doesn't do that anymore, I don't know what could be wrong?
I'm assuming starter relay, but would seem strange as it worked once already

Re: MR2 rev3 SMG turbo
whilst having starter problems I'm left with 2 options why the engine doesn't crank:
-AM2 fuse broken ( will have to check)
-wiring failure
starter has been tested, just as the relay etc.
Soon the engine will come out for a full rebuild

Re: MR2 rev3 SMG turbo
bad experiences with the aftermarket ones?
My mate had a genuine and isn't happy with the fact that they all use the same gasket material and thre price being the only difference
