Im wondering if anybody knows where to get a set of front clear lenses from?
Do they make them for the mk1 - as i think clear would look better instead of orange
Thanks

Yeah
Toyota do them £10 each side, also can get clear side repeaters
I will check the MK1 club site for the part codes....

PS: Welcome newbie MK1'er
Er yes, that'll be me, and i've sold loads upto now!!!!!
More fool the people out there who don't want to get involved with clubs like these, where i'll do them dirt cheap
Part numbers are T81521-03011 and T81511-03011.
Most dealers won't want to order then, as they don't immediatley show on the PC and they are back ordered to hell usually.
Basically as i've exhausted the UK and belgium stocks!
I can do just the Lenses [edit admin] if you wanna try finding the right bulbs.
ah that would be wicked - last time i went to the dealer i waited two weeks for a sump plug! and then i still had to phone them back - they are crap!
its less hassle if i get the bulbs from you - so ill have the lot please
pm sent
2 Weeks for a sump plug!!!!! That is extremely poor of them.
Well as you're a super newbie, and doing the coolest easiest mod to it, [edit admin]
That;ll save you £2 and the hassle you'll get when you "attempt" the remove the old bulbs lol.
They are a friggin nightmare.
Thats sounds fab! Bonus of being a newbie lol
I thought they would be really easy to do thats why i chose it as first mod lol! ill figure it out im sure he he

Oh yeah, thay are..... on a 3 year old car.
On a car that has some age to it, NO! The bulb holders rust up, causing it to grab the old bulbs tight. You then have to either remove the whole lot and do it indoors with calm music, or do as I did and get all medievil on it's ass!
Pliers and a drill! Sorted.
But my "new" F-plate was like new, so I was well chuffed
mr2mk1chick wrote:my 'Mr T' got them in 2 days also, and the bulbs were simple to remove - just like a household lightbulb - push and twist. so don't be scared girl!
Jimi wrote:Took at least 10mins to fit them
..why you take so long to fit 'em! lol
lol i will give it a go then - just didnt want to get my hair off with them and break them
they look pretty simple - is it just the two visible screws that hold them in?

yep - only 2 screws go-girl
I suppose if you are very unlucky and they break, some long nose pliers should do the job - they did when i broke a light bulb at home
