They won't oven open bonnet and tow you up there on a flatbed.

So it's taken back to depot then loaded onto a multi car and shipped up.
Takes 3-4 days.
I did that Brighton to leeds no problem.Just say oil pressure light on engine must NOT be turned over or will invalidate warranty.
They then won't touch it.

.so for me personally i don't like going anything above an 86mm standard size piston now as the walls are thin as standard anyway.

Depending how bad your cracked ringland is you might get away with dropping86mm pistons in.

.IF the bores do need some work i'd sack that block off and rebuild your bottom end on a good condition NA block with 86mm pistons.

Did yours crack at the waterpump, or between 2&3? Was it a rev 3 block?
