For the literal amongst us, yes I'm sure someone knows both the car and owner.
However does anyone here know either?
Rightly or wrongly I'm slightly put off due to the location.
Hopefully link will work.

Been there and it ended in tears so agreed
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
Yes that does put me off.
I've also wasted a lot of time looking at "mint condition" cars from London!

Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
It's a "genuine" UK turbo.
Not many of those kicking around

Looks like a UK rev5 with the NA engine still in there. Of course no engine pics in the ad.
The guy is also listing a number of crash damaged cars and some parts. It's clearly a trader trying to make a huge profit. Man's gotta eat right?
One of the next mr2 ads that poped up was for a rev 5 with a rev 3 turbo conversion, asking 5k.

na turbo conversion
Car is said to be NA to Turbo conversion so is way over priced at 8k, its worth only half the asking price

It is a nice motor but this car has been on and off ebay many times over the past year, if you google his number you can see he is advertising many damaged cars so is clearly a trader.
If the car ran perfect then i would consider 6k to be reasonable in todays market....
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
A little off topic but what are peoples thoughts on those wide arches?
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?

Look awesome, gives the mr2 loads of road presence but may not be the best thing to have if you want to track the car....
Isn't a cheap mod if done properly, ie. not using wheel spacers...
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
I certainly do like the look and seems to work in that colour too. But I also thought expensive for a UK converted turbo. But if work done properly for conversion and kit still cheaper than getting done.

It's that front bumper he uses on all his cars - I guess they are good as they make it easy to spot a car that has been touched by the nameless one.

Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
I fell for a Bradford car once, ended up with new engine and reshelling it. Lesson learned the hard way. LOL
Oh, and stay away from that one as the guy loves his billy bull stories and ripping people off.

I agree with not buying a JDM car from Bradford. It must be hard for genuine sellers!

Well, you don't have a Bradford car anymore!
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
So concensus is to stay clear. Confirms what I thought.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to get the abflug kit fitted and sprayed? I know both front and rear arches would need cutting and rears welded after.

Let me guess... there was a choice of 4 cars?
Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
I also have a tale of a dodgy place in Liverpool and an AW11.
Will add it later as it seems relevent and potentially helpful.
