Buying a mk2 turbo

Hi all, I currently have an N/A mk2 as my daily but looking for a turbo to put in the garage, polish and bring out on sunny days.

Can anyone explain to me the differences between rev2 and rev3 onwards?

I'm looking for a stock (or near to it) car with relatively low miles if anyone knows of one!
