Part or half throttle it's fine but as soon as floor it misfires. It's not a normal misfire, it's vey quick if that makes any sense at all. I had exactly the same problem two months ago, bought new leads and it sorted it.
So I thought.Plugs are 3000 miles old and seem fine, obviously new leads and the points on the dizzy and rotor arm look brand new.
With out jumping to conclusions and sending the leads back etc was wondering if anyone has had the same problem?
Leads come with a warranty of 24,000 miles.
So has me thinking maybe coil pack or igniter? Could be selling the car so reluctant to start buying parts it doesn't need!
