you wont encounter many two's running a diffuser either.
craig wrote:Forgot to add the results of fitting the TRD low temp thermostat compared with the factory Toyota thermostat.
Both results from cruising home on the M1 from Barnsley(45 miles):
TRD low temp thermostat:
Water temp: 70 degrees
Oil temp: 90 degrees.
Perfect.Temps would obviously rise with load/boost.
Now compared to the data for the stock thermostat:
Stock Toyota thermostat:
Water temp: 82 degrees
Oil temp: 100-110 degrees.

so your engine is now running too cool while cruising![]()
C35Rob wrote:I was more commenting on the coolant temp side of things, the PFC has a water temp correction table, two in fact, one for vac and one for boost
- basically a curve of fuel enrichment vs water temp, if it hasn't been altered from the base apexi settings
(I'm yet to see a map that has been, including one of Ryan G's) then anything under 80 deg will richen the mixture
- the
% of enrichment is dependent on the temp obviously, but if you're consistently running under 80deg then you're over fuelling, all of the time.

If so, what was the reason to get rid of a working system?
