I did find the topic below however that seem to suggest all ok? Any alloy retailers near you that could try a wheel for size? As the thread suggests it's the spoke design you need to be careful of too, it could foul the caliper whereas a different style would clear ok I spoke to the guys at Driftworks and although they don't keep the wheels on site (no shop as such) they were confident that Rota, JR and Work wheels in 17" would all clear easily. (as someone mentioned on another thread) as they have a dish and not a lot of pad. That'd be a great size in a 25 or 30 offset. If the dealer is saying they're confident the wheels will fit then they should be ok taking them back if they dont actually fit 
What brake kit are you running, some calipers are pretty narrow compared to others?(45 offset) here. I would recommend a lower offset if you can (35)

My Advans are this size and sit nice and flush with no rubbing or clearance issues. . Nice brakes, plenty of feel from that setup
