(as you look at it from the front), a simple angle iron frame with one leg makes the battery tray.
Then feed the live cable through the speedo cable grommet so it is well insulated from the chassis, around 3m of cable needed to do the job, i usually buy 4m and use the rest for earth cabling up front.
My reasons for doing it this way rather than any other is that you can retain a spacersaver spare wheel and it all looks very OEM.
