I'd honestly plea that you get some decent JDM wheels.

There are not enough MK1s going around with good JDM wheels on.

If you did want to stay 15, then you will be able to get wide enough wheels, it's not hard to get 15s in 9" wide for example.

As for going staggered, personal choice and how you like the car to feel.

I would say look for some secondhand wheels from the likes of Work or Rays and get them refurbed.

Also lightness of the wheel is absolutely key.

Makes a big difference having lighter wheels.

I'm not exactly sure what rubber is available in that kind of size.

I will have to look for my AE86 next year in terms of rubber.

My favoured choices would be Yoko Advans or Contisport Contacts, but I'll bet they're not available in the size I want.
