Exhaust Question

Post by b333ry »

Probably had loads of these have searched high and low on the interweb but thought i throw it there to the more expert eye!

I have just brought a kakimoto exhaust for my NA rev1, stoopidly never asked if it came off a tubby ](*,) but hey damage is done now, yet to fit it and the real test will be looking at the down pipe fitting, more to the point can anyone tell from this pic if its a tubby or NA? or even if kakimoto did na single exits?

Cheers

Fairly certain it's not an N/A one, but will wait for further input from people more experienced than myself!

Cheers wenguin, I'm starting to think the same TBH, been trying to look at pics of N/A systems to try and compare and the down pipe looks more centered than the N/A's?! that and its a 3" which is toooo big for the N/A i believe

.....might be an exhaust for sale if anyones interested! ](*,)

just lined it up, looks as though it fits apart from the manifold/down pipe is 2 pipes which reduces down to one on the flexi pipe flange, so this exhaust flexi pipe wont bolt up, so thinking its a tubby exhaust :?

does that make sense? or could it be an NA which is made to bolt to a custom manifold?

take it to a decent local exhaust place the'll probably charge less than £50 to mate it up to your existing downpipe

sound bit of advice bud cheers,

think im just gonna put it up for sale TBH though looking and just been speaking to a local exhaust fitter (where i went to see if it lines up) said it was very likely a tubby exhaust as the tubbys have a one-2-one flange.
