[Mk2] [Turbo] suspension

Post by finest71 »

I need to change my suspension on my '97 turbo,it came with standard bilsteins on and was happy with them, what should I change them for,is their some coil overs that are comfortable as stock.Or should I buy something based on the originals kyb etc.Reason I ask about the coil overs is that obviously they are adaptable to change adjustable hardness and ride height, but I want everyday comfort.

Its up to you bud .. if you want gocart handling buy coilovers slammed on hardest setting .. if you want sporty with comfort go for yellows and lowering springs .. had both my 2p :thumleft:

I had yellow Bilsteins with lowered springs, replaced them with Meister-R coilovers. The coil-overs on the softest setting are more comfortable then the yellow Bilsteins, IMO.

Yes read in the sticky about the mister coil overs, they seem popular, and the comfort is important to me with added bonus of versatility. And the bilsteins sprang to mind haven't they discontinued them though. Thanks for your views on this.
