I've never had my car stolen but a neighbour reported that someone was acting suspiciously when it was parked on the street outside my house. It may have been nothing but I didn't want to take any chances so got an immobiliser fitted. I also have a steering lock on it but I know these can be removed in seconds if you know how. It was broken into a couple of years ago and they took the toolkit and satnav but no damage luckily. I keep it in a garage about 10 mins away from my house now. I would be gutted if it was stolen so I hope you get it back.
