Have checked a Tyre calculator & this setup seems ok. Just wanted to run it by you guys as I'm new to all of this.

Yes true but it didnt help in the rain... i take the same corner everyday in goodyears f1 no problems and then change to t1r then bang.
Dont get confuse with the r888 which are very good in the dry. T1r are not good in my opinon

T1r's are reasonably decent but, and possibly relevant to your accident they do take alot of scrubbing in from new easily a good couple of hundred miles of hard driving. from new they can feel quite squirmy and lacking in grip but it does pass eventually, i would take f1's if you've the extra money but it's a fair bit more

So you installed a significantly cheaper tyre, and tried to take a corner at the speeds you were taking it at with a high end premium tyre fitted? Is there an automotive equivalent to PEBKAC?
I'm going to chime in on this one t1r's have amazing grip but like a swich being throne they go from amazing to slip .. i lost it in mine and it was my fault in the wet but i do blame the tyres a bit .. the front wheels under steered for no good reason considering i lost the rear .. if that had not of happen i might have saved the car with opposite lock and POWER but that never happened it was cerb , embankment and tree
They are a good tyre but knowing the limits of when they will let go in the wet is a must .
Ok. Happy with the set up. Just need to decide on the tyres. Happy to pay for the right tyre, just a bit limited in theses sizes i guess. Any thoughts. The Falkens 452 seem favourable with you guys.. Would like Goodyear but not sure they come in this setup.
