whos fitted these arches then
Hi anybody fitted parts from this eBay store? The quality from the picture looks awesome and price seems reasonable. Pics of any of these parts fitted would be great

Re: whos fitted these arches then
cheers dude. I wouldn't expect them to be 100% perfect as they're aftermarket but if they're a close fit with not to much to get them a nice fit I shall certainly be getting a set
Re: whos fitted these arches then
Have a word with sheppy .. he just did a widearch mod on his car .. looks great

Re: whos fitted these arches then
they look ok on that car with those skirts, HOWEVER, they stop completely dead at the side vent, mine go down onto the vent, so unless you plan on getting those exact skirts I guess the arches would be fairly useless??
as you can see the ones I have kinda hug the vent so you can use any skirts you want really, also, you need to cut the front and rear arches, the rears need welding once cut, the fronts don't, if you have any questions fire away

this is the ones I used.

Oh yeah I see. I want to add some arch Extentions I see what you mean about the vent. Does anybody have any idea what arches would look okay. I'm just going for a slightly wider look maybe some generic arch extensions from eBay?

QUOC2008 that car of yours looks great, are the add on arches bonded on to yours filled in and sprayed? cant see any screws like on the ebay add.
Looks much better when you cant see the screws and is blended in.

Re: whos fitted these arches then
screw are still there but after awhile cracks appeared due me having the car too low... humps love to kiss my bumpers soo i got it re-done this time i separated the arches from the bumper and blended the screws on arches in. Never liked the screws... now no cracks or anything been driving for 6months but i had to clear protection wrap the lip as stone chips would get bad after a couple of weeks like before... best thing i done!
I wanted keep the stock oem bumpers as fibreglass aftermarket ones always crack and go funny after awhile

Im still on the fence with these tom scoops... really like them at first but now i think they are abit too much now. i think i need them to keep engine bay temps down... better then having fans on the lid zapping eletrical power from the car.
I guess ?

Re: whos fitted these arches then
if there not used with sealed boxes they raise engine temps ive heard as they create dead spots were the air flow coming up from the underside and in from the side intakes fights against the flow from the scoops
and they are hideous the rest of the car is gorgeous and they let it down

Re: whos fitted these arches then
toms scoops hinder air flow, not improve it.
not to mention cause drag at speed.
only use for toms is passenger side only and the intake would have to be sealed to it.
