Hey guys! (first post)
So I bought my first MK2 (rev4) last month, she runs perfectly apart from a sticky accelerator. When the car is idle it sometimes needs a little kick to loosen it. Although it isn't a major issue, it can be an annoyance.
The cable itself seems to be new, so I'm assuming the previous owner replaced it due to the same issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Screw in the idle screw on the throttle body enough to raise the throttle a little bit off the bottom.
I had this problem with mine when I first got it. I took the throttle body off and found that with the throttle fully closed, the butterfly wedged against the outer casing part.
