The cambelt on my rev 3 N/A is due for renewal in the next few months. As the car is my daily driver, I have no garage and no experience of changing one myself, it is a job for a garage to do. With the engine being located where it is I gather it's a bit of a ball ache to do.
My question is what is a reasonable price to have it done? I have been quoted £440 from Toyota and £380 from a local garage.
I live in Swindon so would anyone local be able to recommend somewhere to have it done?

Try castle vehicle solutions in castle Eaton nr blunsdon. I've been chatting to them about some work I want done. I believe the guy is an ex Toyota mechanic and also races mr2s.
Let me know how you get on.
