Gasket set

Post by Macca »

Any recommendations on places to purchase a full engine gasket set, including metal head gasket for a Rev3 turbo, looking for a sensible cost/quality compromise?
Thanks

S-bits stock them, I have a full rev3 turbo gasket kit for sale if you're interested, think it was £160 from s-bits, i'd take £100 delivered. Does not include head gasket though.

EDIT:

Water flange gasket on turbo
Oil flange gasket under turbo
Oil gaskets on banjo bolt at block
Cylinder head to exhaust manifold gasket
Manifold to turbo gasket
Turbo to downpipe gasket
Decat to B Pipe Gasket

this is everything included in the kit i have for sale, it's not even been opened since Peter sent it to me :thumleft:

Personally wouldn't use ebay for things like gaskets. would only buy either genuine or from a reputable dealer

Me too, if you are going to rebuild the engine I'd only use a genuine Toyota gasket set.

Toyota is the only place to get seals and gaskets if you only want to do the job once.

Thanks for recommendation. :thumleft:

I only use genuine Toyota gaskets, oil seals and O rings in all my engine/gearbox builds and repairs.

The only exception is when an aftermarket head gasket is used for performance or fitment reasons. They are always branded, either HKS or Cometic.

Stay clear of they ebay ones you linked! None of them fit properly and the service you get is shocking when you call to enquire.

Stick with Toyota ones
