which tyres?

Hi

New to these motors and I'm loving them.

But in the wet there a bit twitchy

So which tyres should I buy?

Ive got Toyo T1r all round and they are pretty good in all weather if you are on a budget, otherwise i quite liked Goodyear and Bridgestone.

Not a lot of choice in OEM sizes these days either unfortunately.

What sizes do you need? as said, the tyre sizes will limit your choice.

Do you have standard alloys? Very little in the way of a sports tyre available for the OEM sizes.

Like the others said. choice for the rear is limited. Also down to the car we have it is always going to be a bit sketchy in wet weather.

In my opinion toyo's are rubbish in the wet. Not too bad in the dry but they wear too fast.

Uniroyal rainsport 2 is a good all round budget or a yoko S drive but doubt you can get either of them for the rear.

T1r's or falken's are you only choice in oem size, i spent ages looking and could only find camskil selling them. The t1r is a good tyre but it does wear fast. In regards to wet weather conditions........the mr2 is tail happy, full stop.
you will get used to it!:P
