[Mk2] [Turbo] Opinions on gizzmo msII

Post by TheDockter »

Is it good to have an all in 1? Or better to have the three utilties seperate?

Is this unit good as a whole?

Opinions/experiences?

Thanks

Uh.. what? You've only talked about a boost controller so far...

Aaaaah, right.

You didn't tell us what car you have, but I'm guessing rev2 turbo on standard ECU (hence wanting an FCD)

I like my Gizzmo (I've got the MS-IBC) as it seems to do a good job of boost control with relatively easy to understand settings. I can't comment about FCDs as I've never needed one, however IMO turbo timers are just a party trick and have no worthwhile use for a normal road car. If you're a serious track driver who just HAS to walk away from their car the moment you stop in the pitlane then fine... there really isn't any other need for it.
