Failed mot on a strut leaking and emissions

so I Fitted miester r zeta r coilovers, whiteline arbs, polybushes, and cusco strut braces

full service, with Miller 10/50 race oil, new igniter coil dizzy cap rotor arm and leads!

Cars mot'd waiting till Sat to get tax so I don't loose out on a full month

Once it's taxed I'll need the suspension setting up, and it still needs the paint rubbing down n polished....

Can't believe I'm gonna drive the car this year!!

Some bloody good work there mate.

I'm about to start working on mine, all the same standard issue rot.

I have the additional challenge that I need to work outside - I have a workshop, just no way to get the car in.

So loads of priming/temp waterproofing in between shifts for me, and careful picking of my days.

I'm getting too old for this sh*t lol

Another great job runout - you do that yourself?

Hows it been done, did the full sill come off, or just the affected area?

Got a guy I know that restores old classic VW Camper and Beetles that look like they have been at the bottom of the ocean. So he was pretty clued up with the situation and to be fair was small fry in comparsion to what he usually has to deal with.

He cut out all infected areas and made completely new tailored sections to be replaced, welded and waxoiled inside too.
