The Berk has a really nice not to it and isn't as loud as a NurSpec, but I wouldn't describe it as quiet! (At least not when decatted)

The mongosse would probably be your best option.

Isn't the mongoose 2.5" rather than 3"?

Yeh the Mongoose has a slight drone at 70mph. Below 70 or 80 plus and it's really nice.

Another quiet one is Apexi GT, looks like a bigger standard exhaust

That's the Super Megaphone. Apexi N1 & GT are both loud single exits.

thanks guys , good advise, actually it's the drone on long trips that's the biggest problem over all noise not so much, i used to have a hks system on the car which was quite loud so i think the berk system maybe the way forward cheers dave :)

I had a Mongoose exhaust for years, the droning at around 70mph was really annoying. I now have a Berk exhaust fitted, I'd say it is a bit quieter than the Mongoose and doesn't suffer from droning :D

Isn't the Berk a copy of the HKS Superdragger?

If you want quiet but performant, HKS Silent-Power is the way forward.

I'd offer you a ride in my Berk equipped car to check it out but I think you're probably too far away and the screamer pipe would somewhat distract from the sound of the exhaust on full chat anyway.

Yea I got one for my celica, sounds nice and quiet but not too understated at full throttle. Plus being single exit less weight etc and do you really need those extra kilos over the rear end?

Mongoose does sound good though.
