engine wiring loom rev3 3sge

Post by adzmr2 »

Hey you guyssss

As the 3sge rev2345 combi is running ok on the stock ecu im thinking its time to switch out to the rev3 ecu.

So i no i need the engine bay loom, can i use one for a celica st202? I know of a celica in a breakers that has the loom intack and the ecu, i have chris's wiring diagram for the body loom too.

Also no i need the igniter and coil pack for the rev3 or will my rev2 one suffice?

Oh im impatient by the way so was going to rip the celica apart tomorrow lol

Not without a ton of work. Just get one from an MR2.

And no need to change the body loom.

I know i need to change some pins on the body loom, but do i need the engine loom? Are the rev3 and rev2 ecu plugs the same and same pin outs?

Im sure I will be corrected by Peter if im wrong :D but from what I understand the only wiring that needs to be changed is engine bay through to the ecu and then the rev3 ecu aswell as igniter / coil pack to be changed to the rev 3 version. Then some sort of fiddly stuff with the fuse box to do with changing pins?
